Temple Baptisms:

Saturday, January 22
Relief Society Service Project:
9am–12pm. Come help beautify the Daneil Webster Middle School Education and Community Garden. In association with LA Works, we'll be creating new gardening plots, removing weeds and brush, and adding new plants. 11330 W. Graham Place, LA, CA 90064. Please RSVP to Anne Packer annepacker@gmail.com so she can register you prior to the event. Families and children over the age of 5 are welcome to attend.

Sunday, January 23
Ward Choir Practice:
8 am in the Choir Loft every Sunday, all are welcome, babysitting will be provided.
Regular Church Meetings: 9 am–12 pm. 9 am: Sacrament Meeting. 10:20 am: Relief Society, Priesthood, YW/YM, Primary: 11:20 am: Sunday School, Primary.

Looking Ahead
Missionary Fireside: Sun, Jan 30, 7 pm at the Torrance North Stake Center (2000 W. Artesia Blvd., Torrance, CA 90504). Elder L. Whitney Clayton will speak at a special missionary fireside—open to all those involved with missionary work, but it is specifically intended as a missionary tool. Please make a special effort to invite & accompany investigators, recent converts & families.
Women's Lives, Women's Voices: Agency in the Lives of Mormon Women: Sat, Feb 5, 10 am–4 pm. Speakers will address theories of agency & subjectivity in women's lives as well as themes found in the Mormon Women's Oral History Project. Free & open to the public. A catered lunch will be provided free for those who register by Jan 23 Albrecht Auditorium, School of Religion Claremont Graduate University. Click here for more information.
