Haiti Earthquake: How You Can Help

Owing to the great outpouring of support for victims of the Haiti earthquake, we are providing a brief update on the situation with clear information to the many people who may still be seeking ways to help.

If you have already donated, we thank you for your support. If you are wondering about opportunities to donate, and/or would like to share this information with others, we offer the following information:
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is responding to the crisis in Haiti through LDS Humanitarian Services with donation efforts coordinated by LDS Philanthropies. Donations are being received through ward donation slips as well as online.
  • Those wishing to assist people in Haiti can donate to the Emergency Response Fund. This fund is used for responding to disasters around the world including, at present, Haiti. Any funds received beyond those needed in Haiti will be used for future disaster situations.
  • To view and share updates on the Church’s response, use the following widget. “Give” and "Share" buttons allow secure online donations, and for sharing on Facebook, your personal blog, and other social networks.
