Free Dental Work: Several members of the UCLA Ward are 4th year dental students who are preparing for their dental licensing exam. We need patients for our licensing exam so we are providing FREE DENTAL EXAMS and FREE X-RAYS for the next three weeks as part of the screening process. If you qualify for the exam, you will get a free filling and/or free cleaning sometime between March 28-30th. There is no obligation to become a dental patient at UCLA and there will absolutely be no cost to you for anything. Please contact James Blackburn (jblackburn@ucla.edu) if you would like to come in for screening or call (626) 825-4289. We can accommodate your schedule to come in, even after 6pm. Invite all of your friends and family to come with you too! Thank you so much.

Remember to do and report your Visiting Teaching: Once it's done please report your visiting teaching to your visiting teaching supervisor the first week of every month for the previous month. Please also let your supervisor know how your sisters are doing and if there are any needs. Please pray for Marilyn and Rai Langford, longtime members of our ward.  Marilyn has Alzheimer's and has been deteriorating and is currently in a hospice setting with a poor prognosis.  Rai and her family can use our love and prayers and support!

Emergency Preparedness reminder:
The First Presidency recommends building a three-month supply of food. Each month a recipe will be provided that includes nonperishable food items. We're skipping this month due to the recent arrival of an adorable baby to the home of the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. We'll bring you a new recipe next month! Meanwhile, check the attendance roll binders in church for copies of the previous two recipes. When storing food it is important to keep track of expiration dates and store food in proper conditions.  The First Presidency recommends to store what you eat and eat what you store. This allows a rotation of the food before the expiration date. Cooking without power is another concern in times of emergency. The following website list the many options available: www.yourfamilyark.org. There are instructions on how to build your own oven using cardboard, foil, and charcoal or links on where to purchase solar oven. Our goal is to make some progress every month. Good luck.
