We are also beginning to offer video training classes from the FamilySearch Wiki, which we hope will be well attended. LA Stake Institute Class: Weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in the Westwood Chapel. The course is on the Old Testament and Betty Ann Marshall will teach. It's a 10-week course and is open to all LA Stake members, ages 18 through 30 as well as friends and family who may also be interested. Each 10-week course will constitute an official LDS Institute Course which is good for credit and can lead to institute graduation.

Looking Ahead

Satellite Broadcast Stake Conference: January 21 &22. Adult Session: Jan 21 from 7–9pm at the Stake Center. No dinner will be served. Priesthood Session: Jan 22 from 8am–9:15 am at the Stake Center. General Session: Jan 22 from 10am–12pm satellite broadcast at both the Westwood Building and Stake Center.

Relief Society Activity: We will be doing a cannery assignment on January 28 at 9:30 am. Please RSVP on sign up sheet and let us know what you're interested in canning that day. Pre-packaged items will also be available for purchase. Email Misty Johnson to RSVP at: maallred77@yahoo.com.
