Temple Maintenance: The Los Angeles Temple will be closed for maintenance from Monday March 22nd to Monday April 5th. We have an assignment to help clean the Temple on Monday March 29th. We need about 2 or more people from our ward to help from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm. You will need a current temple recommend to volunteer, please bring your lunch as the cafeteria will be closed, and adults only, no youth. You will report at the baptisimal entrance on the west side of the temple. Please contact Marty MacDonald at martymac@national-vet.com or 310-277-3427 if you are available.
Relief Society Service Project—Relief Society Birthday Celebration: Thursday, March 25th at 6:30 pm at the Westwood Chapel. We will be hosting a service project for My Stuff Bags. We will be tying blankets, knitting hats, making stuffed animals and collecting toiletry items to be donated to this great cause! We will also be arranging a date afterwards to go to their facility to bring these items and help with putting bags together to be delivered to the children.
Ward Conference: Sunday, April 18
Mormon Helping Hands: Sat, May 8, 8 am–12 noon. Celebrate the church-wide Mormon Helping Hands Day by cleaning up Griffith Park. Activities for all abilities will be available. Watch for more announcements.
