Wednesday, January 13
Book of Mormon Class: 7:00 pm. Taught by full-time missionaries every Wednesday at the LA Stake Center.

Thursday, January 14
Relief Society Temple Day: 9:30 am or 7:30 pm session. Meet at the blue bench (where you are seated before you go off to the endowment session). Possibly followed by brunch or yogurt. If you need childcare and plan on attending, contact Linda Smith.

Friday, January 15
Temple Baptisms: Every 3rd Friday at the LA Temple at 7 pm. You are cordially invited to join the Wilshire & Adams Wards' members in their monthly service in "The House of the Lord"! Meet in the Baptism Chapel @ 7 pm. Contact Alfonso Vernon with questions: 323.470.5933

Saturday, January 16
12th Annual Community Day: 9-11:30am at 1426 West Manchester Ave, LA, CA 90045. Volunteers needed to help distribute food and clothing to the needy. This annual event is expected to serve 10,000-20,000 people in need, with food that has been donated by the community. Each stake has been asked to provide 30 volunteers, ages 19 and up, to help serve breakfast. Please arrive between 7:00-7:30 am and women are asked to wear a white blouse and dark skirt or slacks, and men are to wear a white shirt and dark pants. Save the Date
January 22: 7 pm, Baby Blanket Tying. Meet at Alisa Griner's home. We will be tying quilts for an orphanage in Monterrey, Mexico. The orphanage is in great need of blankets as they have been wrapping newborns in newspapers. Homemade cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa will be served. Please invite your visiting teachers, neighbors and friends for this wonderful opportunity to serve!
January 30: 9 am, Relief Society Cannery Trip. Meet at the Cannery (2730 E 12th St, LA, CA 90023) at 9 am, or if you are interested in carpooling call Linda Smith. You must RSVP to this activity by Jan 28th (Linda Smith) as we need to give a final head count.
