Resume, Cover Letter, and ldsjobs.org Profile Help: Los Angeles California Employment Resource Center. 9am–3pm. Learn More.
Primary Family Home Evening: In an effort to encourage the children to bring their non-member friends and neighbors to the Visitors' Center at Christmastime, the Primary is hosting a simple FHE on Monday, December 9th, beginning at 6 p.m. We will meet there for cookies and milk, then walk around to see the lights before attending a concert inside the Visitors' Center. The King Family Carolers are performing at 7 p.m. The Primary children will also be singing a song in Sacrament meeting, as part of the Christmas Program, on Sunday, December 15th, and are encouraged to invite those same non-member friends and neighbors to come hear them perform.
Visitor Center Program Addition: A 5:30 p.m. concert has been added on Dec. 9th. The King Family Carolers will present 2 concerts (5:30 and 7:00 pm.) in order to accommodate a larger than normal audience. Many who are traveling longer distances are only able to attend the later concert. We, therefore, invite and encourage all who live within the Los Angeles Mission area to try to attend the newly scheduled 5:30 p.m. concert. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. You are always welcome at the Visitors’ Center.

Emergency Preparedness reminder: The First Presidency recommends building a three-month supply of food. Each month a recipe will be provided that includes nonperishable food items. When storing food it is important to keep track of expiration dates and store food in proper conditions. The First Presidency recommends to store what you eat and eat what you store. This allows a rotation of the food before the expiration date. Cooking without power is another concern in times of emergency. The following website list the many options available: www.yourfamilyark.org. There are instructions on how to build your own oven using cardboard, foil, and charcoal or links on where to purchase solar oven. Our goal is to make some progress every month. Good luck.
