Relief Society Activity: A Night of Turkish Delight: Wednesday, September 28 at 7 pm at the Westwood Building. Dawn Neal will be sharing some of her adventures and insights into the beginnings of Christianity gleaned from her travels through Turkey.
General Conference: The First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles invite all members of the Church to participate in the 181st Semiannual General Conference on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2, 2011. Messages will be given by the First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other General Authorities and general officers of the Church. General sessions will be held on Saturday at 9 am and 1 pm, followed by the priesthood session at 5 pm PST. Two more general sessions will be held on Sunday at 8:30 am and 1 pm PST; the morning session includes the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word. Viewing Live: Members can watch conference at the LA Stake Center or Westwood Building or in their homes. Live broadcasts will be available at the following locations:

Stake Conference: October 8 and 9 at the LA Stake Center. Elder Frank Trythall, an Area Authority, will preside at the Stake Conference. All meetings are at the stake center. Saturday, October 8, Stake Priesthood Leadership Meeting: 4-6 pm Light Dinner between the Priesthood Leadership Meeting from 5:45-6:45 pm Adult Session: 7-9 pm. Sunday, October 9, New Convert and Investigator Meeting 8:30 - 9:30 am, General Session: 10-12 pm.
