Relief Society Service Activity: 6–7:30 pm at Westwood Plaza Senior Center. (Westwood Plaza Independent and Assisted Living Center). We will be decorating the center's halls to help the residents get excited for their upcoming Halloween festivities. Westwood Plaza is located at2228 Westwood Blvd, just south of Olympic. Baptism: We are excited to announce that Trison Goodwin has made the decision to be baptized. Please join us at the LA Stake Center at 12:30 pm for the baptism. Refreshments will be provided by the Relief Society.

Sunday, October 10
Ward Choir Practice: 10:45 am in the Seminary Room at the Westwood Chapel. All are welcome, refreshments served and babysitting available.
Regular Church Meetings: 12–3 pm

Volunteer Opportunity: Tuesday, October 12—Three sisters are needed for Stake Temple Sealings at the 12:30 pm session at the LA Temple. Please RSVP to Carol Turley at cturley@aol.com ASAP if you can provide this service.

Stake Conference: Saturday, October 23 and Sunday, October 24. All are invited to attend the light dinner on Saturday evening at 5:45 pm and to stay for the Adult Session of Stake Conference that night from 7–9 pm. The General Session of Stake Conference is on Sunday morning from 10 am–12 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend and be edified together as a stake family.
Trunk or Treat: Saturday, October 30 at 5:30 pm in the Westwood Building parking lot. Decorate your trunk in a festive Halloween way, bring some candy to hand out to trick or treaters as they parade from trunk to trunk show off their costumes! Hope you can make it!

Combined Sacrament Meeting: Sunday, November 14. There will be a joint Sacrament Meeting for the Westwood 1st & 2nd Wards on the 14th during the Westwood 2nd Ward Sacrament Meeting Time (1:50 pm) for the annual Primary Program.
