Friday, October 22
Preach My Gospel Class: 7 pm at the LA Stake Center. This study-group class, driven by the church's mission: Proclaim The Gospel, is aimed at: fostering gospel knowledge and equipping one to be more effective member-missionaries. All members, friends, & investigators invited and welcome.

Saturday, October 23
Stake Conference: All are invited to attend the light dinner on Saturday evening at 5:45 pm and to stay for the Adult Session of Stake Conference that night from 7–9 pm.

Sunday, October 24
Stake Conference: The General Session of Stake Conference is on Sunday morning from 10 am–12 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend and be edified together as a stake family.

Save The Date
Relief Society Activity: Come enjoy a night devoted to the Power of Womanhood! Tuesday, October 26, 7:30 pm in the Relief Society room at the Westwood Chapel. Kayce Mammen will be our featured speaker. She'll be sharing some of her thesis about LDS women that fought for the right to vote! It will be a wonderful night in celebration and in reminder of the responsibility we have as women. Light Dessert will be served. See you there! If you're willing to bring a dessert or need a ride that evening, please email Anne Packer at annepacker@gmail.com.
Trunk or Treat: Saturday, October 30 starting at 5 pm at the Westwood Building parking lot. Dinner will start at 5 pm, games/activities will be on the ball field from 5:30–6:30 pm, decorating your trunks will be from 6-6:30 pm and then the Trunk or Treat will start at 6:30 pm. Be sure to bring some candy to hand out to trick or treaters as they parade from trunk to trunk showing off their costumes! *Combined Sacrament Meeting: Sunday, November 14. There will be a joint Sacrament Meeting for the Westwood 1st & 2nd Wards on the 14th during the Westwood 1st Ward’s Sacrament Meeting Time (10:40 pm) for the annual Primary Program.
*Note the change of time, it is now 10:40 am instead of 1:50 pm. Also note that all children should arrive at 10:15 am and meet in the chapel.
